Meet four lonely dogs looking for their perfect adopters this Valentine's Day.
Rescue dogs, Billy, Deano, Ginger and Nancy, are all waiting for someone to fall in love with them ahead of February 14.
These beautiful souls are based at Dogs Trust Ilfracombe, and have put 'paw to paper' in the hopes that they won't be part of the 'Lonely Hearts Club' for much longer.
The English bulldog, giant schnauzer, Jack Russell terrier and lurcher are all ready to find forever families and homes.
Elise Watson, Manager at Dogs Trust Ilfracombe, says: "These four wonderful dogs would love a new home for Valentine's Day.
"They're all different in personality and what they'd need from a new family, but the one thing they have in common is the desire to find a loving new owner ahead of the most romantic day of the year!"

Billy
Breed: Bulldog
Age: Three
Perfect match: A patient female
Billy arrived at the centre in January 2019 through no fault of his own. He is currently relaxing and enjoying life in a foster home.
The three-year-old bulldog enjoys short walks, he loves food and he likes to show off his tricks for treats.
This good boy is looking for quite a specific home with a patient and understanding adult female, as he has a history of being uncomfortable around men.
He will need a home in a quiet environment and few visitors. Billy enjoys socialising with calm, friendly dogs when out and about, but in the home, he would like to be the only dog.
Billy's new owner will need to live within an hour's drive of the rehoming centre and visit a few times prior to adoption.
Nancy
Breed: Lurcher
Age: Five
Perfect match: An active owner
Nancy arrived at the centre in October 2021 due to her previous owner's ill health. She loves to be active and is happy to jump in the car to go for long, quiet walks.
She enjoys playing with soft, squeaky toys and having a good sprint around with them outside.
Nancy is smart, affectionate and loving, enjoys a fuss and settles well on a nice, comfy bed.
She has a good history of being an 'office dog' and could perhaps do so again in a suitable setup, where she could be the only dog.
Nancy will need a pet-free home with a large garden in a low populated dog area. She can make friends with well-matched dogs and share her home with children as young as 11.
Deano
Breed: Giant schnauzer cross
Age: Three
Perfect match: An affectionate parent
Deano arrived at the rehoming centre back in April 2021 as a stray. He can be described as an 'adult puppy', with a larger-than-life personality.
He loves to go for walkie sand have a good explore. He has come on leaps and bounds with his training and keeps his clever brain busy.
Deano enjoys playing with toys and playing scent games. He has a loving and affectionate side and likes to get cosy on a big comfy bed.
This good boy can make friends with other dogs if he is introduced gradually, and is looking for a pet-free, adult-only home.
Quiet walks are essential to stop him from feeling too overwhelmed.
Ginger
Breed: Terrier
Age: Eight
Perfect match: A loving female
Ginger first arrived at the centre back in 2014 as a stray. She has been rehomed a few times, but they sadly didn't work out due to her fear of strangers.
She has a history of being uncomfortable around men and is therefore looking for a female-only home.
Ginger loves to play with squeaky toys - especially her favourite honking pig. She enjoys her walks and loves to sniff and explore.
This sassy girl is super affectionate and loving, and when she knows you well, she can be quite the lap dog.
Ginger takes time to get to know new people, so any potential adopter would need to live within an hour of the centre and visit multiple times.
She could potentially live with a male dog, who could tolerate her boisterous play style.
