An Edinburgh city centre Waterstones store was deserted on Tuesday morning following the release of Prince Harry's highly-anticipated biography, Spare.
With leaked quotes from the novel, as well as Harry's interviews with the media in recent days lifting the lid on the going's on behind the scenes within the Royal Family, the book is expected to fly off the shelves across the country.
However, locals didn't seem in a rush to arrive at the Waterstones on Princes Street at 9am to beat the queues, with only one people waiting for the store to open.

One local who visited the store on Tuesday morning said the book had already been slashed to half price before any copies had been purchased. Images from inside Waterstones show copies of the book taking centre stage, with plenty piled up for display.
As well as the few shoppers, there were also multiple press photographers who arrived anticipating more of a crowd than they received at the city centre retailer.
While sitting down with ITV's Tom Bradby for an exclusive interview on Sunday evening, Harry opened up on the struggles he has faced since the death of his mother Diana, as well as squashing allegations of racism against the Royal Family.
He also claimed that he faced a "horrible reaction" from the members of his family after his grandmother, the Queen, died.
