London travel news LIVE: Southeastern trains into St Pancras cancelled due to signal fault

Some Southeastern services into London were thrown into disarray on Wednesday morning due to a signalling fault.

Services have now returned to normal, following a number of cancelled or delayed trains.

Meanwhile, TfL has reported delays on Elizabeth, Victoria and Weaver lines.

Reduced service between Longbridge and Redditch

There is a reduced service between Longbridge and Redditch expected until 2.30pm.

Trains running between these stations may be cancelled or delayed by up to 10 minutes.

This is due to a fault with the signalling system.

Disruption between London Liverpool Street and Hackney Downs

The disruption between London Liverpool Street and Hackney Downs is expected until 11:00am.

Trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 25 minutes or revised.

This is due to a fault on a train in the Bethnal Green area causing blockage on some lines.

Minor delays in the Weaver line.

There are minor delays in the Weaver line due to a faulty train at Liverpool Street Station.

There are also minor delays on the Elizabeth and Victoria lines. There is a good service on all other lines.

Introduction of trains to reduce overcrowding delayed

Minor delays in trains to St Pancras

The 9.30am train from Stratford International is delayed by two minutes.

Train to Ramsgate delayed

The new arrival time is 10.54am.

This is due to a fault with the signaling system.

Commuters say that the journey from Vauxhall Bridge Southbound from Victoria is “chaos”.

Elizabeth line delays

There is a disruption in services between London Paddington and Heathrow/Reading expected until 12.00pm.

Trains may be cancelled, revised or delayed by up to 15 minutes.

This is due to urgent repairs to the track in the Ealing Broadway area.

Replacement buses due to National Rail disruption

Buses are replacing trains between Newtown and Aberystwyth and between Machynlleth and Pwllheli until 9.00am on Friday 21 March.

Limited step-free access at Bond Street

Step-free access is not available at Bond Street to and from the Marylebone Lane entrance due to a faulty lift.

TfL advises that customers use the entrance on Davies Street or Hanover Square instead.

Gravesend highspeed trains returning to normal services

Highspeed trains via Gravesend are returning to normal services however there are still some delays and cancellations to trains via Faversham.

Services are expected to return to normal by 9.30am.

Moorgate step-free access

Step-free access has been restored at Moorgate station, following a temporary closure due to a faulty lift.

Good service on the Bakerloo line

A good service has resumed on the Bakerloo line.

There are still minor delays on the Victoria line. There is a good service on all other lines.

Delays at Stratford International

The 8.27am train from Statford International to Ramsgate is delayed until 8.56am.

The train is now expected to arrive at 10.34am.

Gravesend and Ebbsfleet International disruption

The disruption in service between Gravesend and Ebbsfleet International is expected to clear by 9.30am, following a fault with the signalling system.

Good service on Bakerloo line

There is now a good service on the Bakerloo line, following minor delays.

There are still minor delays on the Victoria line and Elizabeth line.

There is a good service on all other lines.

St Pancras train delays

The 8.20 train from London St Pancras to Ramsgate (via Stratford International) has been delayed until 8.45am due to a fault with the signalling system.

Stratford train cancellations

Gatwick Airport and Purley trains disruption cleared

Trains between Gatwick Airport and Purley trains are now running as scheduled, following a speed restriction over a defective track.

Victoria Line minor delays

There are minor delays on the Victoria Line due to train cancellations.

There are also minor delays on the Bakerloo and Elizabeth Lines. There is a good service on all other lines.

District Line wait times

Northern Line wait times

Blackheath Tunnel closure

Gravesend service resumes

The first trains will be the 8.00am Faversham to St Pancras train and the 8.11am Strood to St Pancras train.

There will be replacement light night trains between Ebbsfleet and Ashford.

On Sunday, engineering work will affect journeys via Greenwich, Otford and Meopham.
