A crash on the M25 is causing long delays near Basildon and Romford this morning.
The incident was first reported at around 7.18am, and, according to the AA Traffic Monitor, involved a lorry.
Following the crash, two lanes have been closed on the anticlockwise carriageway before J29 at the A127.
According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, tailbacks of around four miles are stretching back to Junction 31 at Thurrock.

Queuing traffic in the construction area
10:27At 9:58am, AA reported queueing traffic for two miles on the M25 anticlockwise after J25 A10 (Enfield) in the construction area.
Traffic on M25 clockwise before J23 A1M
10:25There is still heavy traffic on M25 clockwise before J23 A1M (South Mimms) in the construction area, according to AA.
Traffic returned to normal
10:21At 9:45am, Romford Recorder reported that traffic on the M25 had returned to normal.
However, there was queuing traffic on the A12 into town from the M25 J28 (Brentwood/Brook Street Roundabout) to Petersfield Avenue, because of construction work.
Romford Recorder also said that there was congestion to two miles back along the Brentwood Bypass.
Car crashes this morning
10:14There were a number of car crashes across the UK this morning.
At 3:50am, firefighters were called to a crash at the Broxton Roundabout on the A41.
Around 6:30am, a crash was reported on the M5 near Bristol.
Then, at 7:50am, police responded to reports of a crash involving a car and van in Capel Road in Bentley. A spokesman for Suffolk police said that two people were injured, but the extent of the injuries were not yet known.
Lorry crash yesterday
10:07The M25 lorry crash comes after a lorry crash yesterday morning (March 10).
According to police, a lorry collided with part of Blackwall Tunnel at around 8:50am.
Long delays on the A10
09:38At 9:10am, HCC Highways reported long delays of 30 minutes southbound on the A10 Great Cambridge Road from Cheshunt to the M25.

Queuing traffic on the exit ramp
09:33At 9:19am, AA reported queuing traffic on the exit ramp due to an earlier stalled car on the M25 clockwise at J28 A12 (Brentwood/Brook Street Roundabout).

09:25At 9:02am, AA reported delays of two minutes on the A127 Southend Arterial Road Westbound between A127 and Southend Arterial Road. The average traffic speed was ten mph.

09:19At 9:16am, M25 Traffic reported a lane closure on the M25 clockwise exit slip at junction J28 , due to a broken down vehicle.
M25 Traffic expected that the incident would clear between 10:00am and 10:15am.
Delays on M25 anticlockwise at junction J30
09:12At 9:00am, M25 Traffic reported that the M25 anticlockwise at junction J30 had delays of 10 minutes against expected traffic.
