
London commuters are gearing up for another busy week in the capital as Monday comes back around yet again.
Commuters look set for a relatively trouble-free start to the week with few problems being reported on the Tube and rail network early on Monday morning.
There are minor delays reported across three lines - the Bakerloo, Elizabeth and Victoria lines.
The picture is looking good on the trains however, with no major issues being reported on major London lines or at stations.
The M25 appears to be seeing the usual early-morning congestion, although traffic monitor Inrix.com is identifying three-mile queues anticlockwise before Junction 29 (Romford) due to an earlier rolled over car.

Victoria station step-free access restored

Step-free access at Victoria has now been restored.
It was not available between Victoria Dock Road and the footbridge due to a faulty lift.
Customers were recommended to use trains to Beckton - entrance on Victoria Dock Rd.
Delays between Moorgate and Finsbury Park ends
10:05 , Nuray BulbulDisruption caused by a speed restriction between Moorgate and Finsbury Park has now come to an end.
The routes impacted were between Moorgate and Hertford North / Welwyn Garden City / Stevenage.
Various Southeastern routes impacted by delays or cancellations this week
10:00 , Nuray BulbulSeveral lines on the Southeastern network are being closed for engineering maintenance this week.
Only the London St Pancras International to Gravesend connection will be served by the 11.20pm London St Pancras International to Faversham train on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday this week.
Accessible buses will run between Ebbsfleet International, Gillingham, and Faversham, stopping at all stations with the exception of Higham, Newington, and Teynham, replacing the 11.50pm London St Pancras International to Faversham service.
On Monday and Tuesday, the 10.25pm and 11.25pm London Victoria to Ashford International trains will be diverted between Otford and Ashford International to run via Sevenoaks. And the 12.25am London Victoria to Ashford train will only run between Victoria and Maidstone East.
On Wednesday to Friday, accessible replacement buses will run between Herne Hill and Orpington via Beckenham Junction calling at all stations except Brixton and also between Bromley South and London Victoria calling at all stations except Brixton.
Amended late night Great Northern service to / from London Kings Cross
09:55 , Nuray BulbulSome lines will be closed while engineering work is done between Alexandra Palace and Stevenage via Hertford North overnight until around 04.50 on Tuesday morning.
The 01.10 London Kings Cross to Hertford North service will terminate at Finsbury Park.
A rail replacement bus will run between Finsbury Park and Hertford North, calling at all stations except Harringay and Hornsey.
The 04.24 Stevenage to London Kings Cross service will divert via Welwyn Garden City. And a rail replacement bus will run between Stevenage and Alexandra Palace via Hertford North to provide connections.
A good service on all London Underground lines except for Bakerloo and Victoria

There are currently severe delays between Elephant & Castle and Queen's Park, and minor delays between Queen's Park and Harrow & Wealdstone a signal failure at Queen's Park is addressed.
Over on the Victoria line, multiple cancelled trains are causing minor delays.
Free cycle shuttle set to open next month
09:44 , Nuray BulbulTransport for London (TfL) has stated that when a new £2.2 billion tunnel beneath the River Thames opens next month, cyclists will be able to use a shuttle service.
The Silvertown Tunnel is set to open on April 7 and will link Newham to the Greenwich Peninsula.
The Cycle Shuttle Service will be able to transport a variety of bicycles and will be branded in blue and silver to set the vehicles apart from the conventional bus system.
From 6.30 to 21.30, the service will run every 12 minutes and be free to use for the first year.
E-bikes, Santander Cycles and third-party hire bikes, will also be allowed on the service.

Reminder to the amendments to Hull Trains timetables
09:40 , Nuray BulbulOn Fridays and Saturdays in March and April, there are alterations to Hull Trains timetables.
Majority of the timetabled services are planned to operate as normal, but there will be temporary alterations affecting some early morning and late evening services between March 7 and April 26.
These below services are expected to be cancelled:
Fridays:
- 07:27 from London Kings Cross to Hull
- 19:09 from Hull to London Kings Cross
Saturdays:
- 07:27 from London Kings Cross to Hull
Delays between Moorgate and Finsbury Park expected until 10.15am

A speed restriction between these two stations means that trains have to run at a reduced speed on all lines.
Trains running between these stations can expect delays by up to 15 minutes.
The disruption is set to continue until 10.15am.
Amended late evening Avanti West Coast services to / from London Euston
09:30 , Nuray BulbulAvanti West Coast services to and from London Euston will be amended until Friday (March 21).
It comes as engineering work is taking place overnight between Wolverton and Rugby, closing some lines.
As a result, these services will divert to run via Northampton this evening:

- 22:03 London Euston to Manchester Piccadilly
- 22:30 London Euston to Wolverhampton
- 23:00 London Euston to Wolverhampton

Disruption between Slough and Reading extended until 11.30am

Disruption on the Elizabeth line and Great Western Railway is extended until 11.30am.
Currently some trains between Maidenhead and Reading are blocked due to a points failure, therefore trains running between Slough and Reading may be cancelled, delayed by up to 10 minutes or revised.

Severe delays continue on the Bakerloo and Victoria lines

In terms of the Bakerloo line, there are severe delays between Elephant & Castle and Queen's Park southbound only.
Minor delays between Queen's Park and Harrow & Wealdstone due to an earlier faulty train at Edgware Road.

In terms of the Victoria line, there are minor delays due to train cancellations.
Elizabeth line service returns to normal

Delays were taking place between Maidenhead and Reading while Network Rail fixed a points failure between Maidenhead and Twyford.
But the TfL website currently suggests services have resumed to normal speed.
Person dies after being hit by train in Tottenham on Sunday
09:05 , Nuray BulbulThe Victoria line faced delays yesterday after reports of a “casualty on the tracks” at Tottenham Hale.
Trains were pulled from Seven Sisters to Walthamstow Central while emergency services attended the scene.
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 6.33am this morning (16 March) to reports of a person hit by a train at Tottenham Hale Underground Station, Ferry Lane.
“We sent a number of resources to the scene including an ambulance crew, an incident response officer and members of our Hazardous Area Response Team.
The line has since reopened and is currently working normally.

Reduced Thameslink service until Tuesday

Train services running across the Thameslink network will be cancelled or revised until tomorrow due to a shortage of Thameslink train drivers.
Disruption is expected to continue until 7am on March 18.
The National Rail advises customers to keep a hold of their train ticket and make a note of their journey as they may be entitled to compensation.

The disruption comes after a points failure between Maidenhead and Reading resulting in blocked lines.

Serious delays on the A3
