
A north London station has reopened after a man in his 80s was assaulted leaving him fighting for life.
Edmonton Green station was closed as police responded to reports of an assault on Tuesday evening.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said: “Paramedics attended and a man in his 80s was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.”
Meanwhile there are no Piccadilly line trains to Heathrow Airport amid a signalling fault.
Delays on services between London Kings Cross / Moorgate and Stevenage are also expected until 5.30pm.
