
Commuters travelling through London Marylebone are facing severe delays this Thursday after earlier signalling issues led to the closure of all lines.
According to National Rail, “a fault with the signalling system at London Marylebone means that all lines are blocked. As a result, trains running through this station may be cancelled or delayed by up to 60 minutes.”
Disruption is expected until at least 6pm today.
Elsewhere, London Overground’s Weaver Line was also rocked by delays after signalling cables were stolen from the Hackney area earlier.
Network Rail has resolved the earlier issue, which also impacted Stansted Express trains, but delays may continue as the backlog eases.

M25 car fire leads to 35 minute delays near Godstone

Emergency services are currently on site, working to extinguish the blaze while ensuring the safety of passing traffic.

According to National Highways, all the motorway lanes have now reopened.
However, motorists can still expect delays of up to 45 minutes as the backlog of vehicles starts to ease.

“This incident caused lines to be blocked for essential repairs. Network Rail engineers have now completed all necessary repairs, allowing us to resume our services.”
The train network also warned that there might be some last minute delays due to the backlog of congestion.

Warning of severe delays on Stansted Express
