A London studio flat that's so small the washing machine fits under the bed will take applications - if they earn £30,000 a year.
The owner of a two-bed flat on North Road, Islington rented out the tiny flat for £975 a month - not including bills.
Pictures inside the studio flat show a bathroom, an open plan kitchen, a bedroom and living room area.
But the owner, who had been looking for renters on at least £29,250 per year, successfully found a renter after less than two weeks of being on the property market.
As the average wage for those working part-time is £13,803, a lot of renters would have been unable to apply.
With the average annual worker's salary £38,600 for full-time employees, the "clean and recently decorated studio flat" would be suited to one household and two individuals.
But as the flat is so tiny being, it would be a struggle for most renters.
The property is fitted with a modern kitchen - but the amount of living space appeared just to be a few meters.
And the main bed is above a utility corner which contains a washing machine and water heater.
There is a bathroom with a full-sized bath, along with a toilet, shower curtain and sink.
In the kitchen there is an oven, a microwave, fridge and kettle which is in the same room as the sofa and a bedroom which overlooks the living room below.
The flat, listed on OpenRent for £975 a month, doesn't include bills.
But despite that, the property has been snapped up after being listed for just less than two weeks - an indicator of just how desperate the London rental market is.
