London’s most expensive rentals: inside the priciest homes to let in every borough

The most expensive homes to rent in every London borough range from £2,500 to £86,000 a month

(Picture: ES)

The year that logged the steepest price increase since records began has not been kind to the average London renter.

Tenants at the top of the market are hardly immune from increased costs — asking prices in the choicest neighbourhoods surged almost 10 per cent above pre-pandemic highs earlier this year — though such renters are less likely to trudge back to parents’ homes in defeat.

Our round-up of the most expensive rentals on the market now suggests it’s not so much a tale of two cities but of 32, with a Barnet mansion asking for almost thirty times the monthly rent of a Barking family home.

Here is our list of the priciest properties to rent in every borough.
