Rishi Sunak will not make a decision today on Dominic Raab’s future as he considers his response to an independent report into allegations of bullying against the Deputy Prime Minister, it is being reported.
The review was requested by Mr Raab in November following formal complaints about his behaviour by government officials, and lawyer Adam Tolley was appointed by Mr Sunak to lead an independent investigation.
The Prime Minister received the report from the independent investigator on Thursday morning and was said to be “considering those findings”. Mr Raab has denied all the allegations made against him.
A Downing Street spokesperson said that Mr Sunak wished to publish his response as soon as possible, but did not say if that would be on Thursday. However Sky News’s Sam Coates reported late on Thursday afternoon that a decision on Mr Raab’s future in government would not be made today.
