London has retained its crown as Europe's number one destination, according to Tripadvisor.
It it is third in the global ranking, trailing behind second-place Bali, Indonesia with Dubai taking the top spot.
The travel giant has broken down ratings of locations across the globe and crowned the English capital as one of the world's best in its Travellers’ Choice Awards.
According to Tripadvisor reviewers, "London is many worlds in one", making it more popular than Rome and Paris which took second and third place in the European rankings.
They add: "From Shoreditch’s swaggering style to Camden’s punky vibe and chic Portobello Road, the city’s energy means that no two days are the same.
"Explore royal or historic sites, tick off landmarks from your bucket list, eat and drink in exclusive Michelin-starred restaurants, enjoy a pint in a traditional pub, or get lost down winding cobbled streets and see what you stumble across – when it comes to London, the possibilities are endless."
The nearest UK rival - Edinburgh - comes in at just twelfth place this year, while Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Glasgow and Leeds have not made it into the top 25.
London attractions include the London Eye, The O2 Arena, the London Dungeons, the Tower of London and Madame Tussauds.
There are also hundreds of cultural attractions including the National Gallery and the British Museum and British Library.
The global top five countries include Hanoi in Vietnam (fourth) and Rome (fifth). The highest-ranking American destination is New York, which has slipped from 23rd to 25th overall.
Other popular destinations that make it into the top 10 are Paris (sixth); Cancun (seventh); Marrakech (eighth); Crete (ninth) and Hoi An in Vietnam (10th).
The rest of the European top 10 rankings, meanwhile, is made up of Rome (second); Paris (third); Crete (fourth); Istanbul (fifth); Barcelona (sixth); Madrid (seventh); Lisbon (eighth); Amsterdam (ninth) and Florence (10th).
