London Landmarks Half Marathon road closures map and travel disruption to get to start line

Tens of thousands of runners and spectators are anticipated to travel to central London for the London Landmarks Half Marathon (LLHM) on Sunday.

Announcements on road closures and travel updates have already been made. Since it is listed as a closed-road event, vehicles will not be allowed on any of the roads along the course.

Closing times vary throughout the day and are contingent on the race's current location.

Additionally, there are access points that offer restricted access for local vehicles during the day. Waves of runners will begin between 9.15am and 10.40am.

The route traverses all of the city's most popular locations and is packed with the greatest sights and attractions in London.

The marathon is one of the most thrilling ways to experience the capital, running alongside iconic structures like Big Ben, St Paul's Cathedral, and the Tower of London.

There will be dancers, DJs, musical acts, and themed cheer stations for both runners and spectators along the course.

Here’s everything you need to know about the road closures and disrupted train services on the day.
