Giants ace Logan Webb had some fun addressing his team’s rather quiet offseason thus far.
Former NFL quarterback Eli Manning posted a video of himself in San Francisco gear in response to Topps speculating what Tom Brady’s MLB career would have looked like if the 1995 MLB draft pick stuck with baseball.
Jomboy Media captioned Manning’s video, “Looks like the Giants finally signed someone,” prompting Webb to drop an infamous NBA meme in response.

Translation? “Not funny, Jomboy Media.”
The Giants were in the mix to sign two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani before he signed a record-breaking 10-year contract with the rival Dodgers. Webb was active in trying to recruit Ohtani to the Bay, and Giants fans were excited when the Japanese star followed Webb back on Instagram.
After missing out on Aaron Judge, Bryce Harper and other free-agent stars over the last few years, the Giants’ mission to add another franchise player continues. San Francisco is expected to pursue Japanese pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto and reigning NL Cy Young winner Blake Snell, among others, in free agency.
Webb and Giants fans alike certainly are hoping the front office makes a move as the team tries to keep up in the star-studded NL West.
