Logan Paul has been advised to pursue a "sick" boxing clash with Paddy Pimblett after he challenged the rising star to a UFC bout.
Paul has recently taken part in prestigious wrestling event Wrestlemania 38 where he continued his venture into combat sports after three clashes in the boxing ring. The YouTube star is currently uncertain of his future but admitted he would like to face Pimblett in the octagon.
UFC bantamweight Sean O'Malley believes Paul should make a career in boxing after noticing his huge potential in his recent exhibition with Floyd Mayweather. "What if they did boxing, Logan verse Paddy? That would be sick," O'Malley said on an episode of his Bromalley show.
"Watching Logan fight Floyd, I'm like, that motherf***** has some serious f****** potential, like some serious potential if he really wanted to box. I said to him [Paul] 'Dana will never do that' it doesn't matter how big of a fight it is, if Logan goes out there and beats Paddy can't be a star. Logan can box and he really can wrestle it would just be a matter of him dedicating months to training."
There is a significant size difference between Paul and Pimblett which would provide the largest obstacle to any meeting with Paul weighing in at 185lbs. Pimblett fights at 155lbs in the UFC but has put on over 45lbs since his recent victor y at the promotion's London event.
Paul believes that a catchweight of 185lbs could be agreed between the pair and praised the British star for his entertaining persona during his rise. "I have found out who I would like to fight if I did a UFC match. Paddy the Baddy (Pimblett)," Paul told the MMA Hour. "They say he is the next Conor McGregor right, he is super charismatic and entertaining as hell. He is on the come-up and young like me and has a real loud mouth. I like the way he can perform.

"I think I might have him on my podcast and say to him straight up 'I would like to fight you in the UFC'. He could get up to 185lbs and I could get down to 185lbs for a UFC match. It's the only thing I don't know if I would win, he is a good a** fighter and I have never had an MMA fight. If I am doing it obviously I think I am going to win.
"But now I am looking at it and if I do a UFC fight then I have to do it with someone else who can sell tickets. He is still relatively new and he is young and entertaining so I think the fans will eat that s*** up. There is too much going on at the moment but yeah."
Paul confirmed he could return to the boxing ring and accepted the challenge of Brazilian YouTuber Whindersson on social media.
