Logan Paul could pursue legal action against Paddy Pimblett after the UFC star made a video mocking the YouTube star's hydration drink Prime.
Pimblett is launching his own beverage and parodied a comparison video which Paul made where he likened Prime to Gatorade. The Liverpool fighter was brutal in his assessment of Paul's brand, which he helps to run and promote with British YouTuber KSI, noting all of the superior parts of his drink.
And during the latest episode of his podcast Impaulsive, the American made a thinly veiled threat of legal action for one piece of the video with which he took issue. Paul was offended at a part of the video where Pimblett attempted to exemplify what two grams of sugar, which is in Prime, looks like, and poured a large amount on to the table.
When Paul's co-host Mike Majlak noted that Pimblett "s*** all over Prime," the YouTuber declared that he "couldn't believe it," before saying: "Let me tell you why that video was an 'L' on multiple accords on Paddy's part, it's a pretty f***ing embarrassing video. You are now associated with a cheap, s***, copycat beverage brand.
"It looks almost identical to Prime, the formula that they even use to create the drink, which is less calories, less sugar, is I think the sticking point. He made a comparison video, here's another 'L', that is identical to the comparison videos I made and he lied in the video.
"He poured out sugar at one point in the video to show Prime's two grams of sugar, and he poured a f*** load of it. I could technically sue the f*** out of you for that misinformation and that's a fact, you f***ing lied. The brand is s***, it makes Paddy look like a cheap sell-out.
"He promoted Prime in the video, the comparison is, like, nobody's going to go buy that f***ing drink. They'll buy Prime! I even commented and said 'thanks for the promo' and I like Paddy. I think he's really entertaining and I'm excited for his fight tonight [the podcast was recorded on Saturday, before Pimblett faced Jared Gordon] actually, I'm excited to see what happens.

"Paddy was paid by a brand to promote a product. I'm building a brand with my partners [like] KSI. It's a creator product I love, it's become a part of my content. Now you just look like a f***ing s****er... "
Paul then told a story of how his lawyers managed to shut down another drinks brand which aimed to profit off similarities to Prime. "There's another hydration brand called 'King'," he explained. "Again, the branding looks eerily similar to Prime. So our lawyer, who is the best in the world, sent them a very strong cease and desist letter. That product no longer exists... Don't f*** with me!"
Paul also mocked Pimblett for refusing to fly to Puerto Rico for a $1million sparring session with his brother Jake. The younger Paul had gone back-and-forth on social media with the Brit after he claimed that Jake had fixed his fight with Anderson Silva, and offered him a spar to prove the legitimacy of his punching power.
"Dude, you know none of these guys are actually about it, though?" Logan asked his co-hosts. "Jake offered Paddy $1m to come and spar him, that's it. Turns out, surprise, surprise, he's not actually about it. To spar! "
