Logan Paul set to follow KSI and brother Jake in making boxing return in August

Logan Paul will step back in the ring this August, the same month as his brother Jake and his ex-rival KSI's expected boxing comebacks.

The social media stars have all taken extended breaks from the ring, but will return within days of one another towards the end of the summer, according to current plans. The younger Paul brother has multiple times confirmed over the past week that he will be back between the ropes in August, while it was confirmed over the weekend that Logan will follow him.

'American Dream Presents' Ron Johnson, a 17-1 boxer in his own right, announced during a broadcast of the new Entrobox promotion that Paul would be returning later this year. The fighter-turned-promoter has previously worked with the Pauls on other events, with TV station BallySports welcoming Logan to the team in a tweet yesterday.

"We've also got my brother Logan Paul," Johnson declared during Entrobox's debut broadcast over the weekend, where he confirmed a deal to have pound-for-pound great Terence Crawford promote fights on the network. "You can look forward to Logan in or around the August timeframe."

It comes after Jake confirmed that he would be back in the second half of the year. In a clip posted to social media from his Puerto Rico training base, he said: "August we're back, baby".

Both Logan and Jake are currently spending time in Dorado, Puerto Rico, where they have built a gym specifically for their training. The elder brother's coach Milton Lacroix is already in the country, with BJ Flores, who coaches the younger sibling, set to arrive in the coming days.

"Time to get back to work," Flores wrote in a cryptic Instagram post over the weekend. "Returning to Puerto Rico in two weeks. Big announcement soon."

Jake Paul is currently focusing his attentions on co-promoting the undisputed lightweight title fight between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano with Eddie Hearn. And he and Serrano have been training together in Puerto Rico, where she is from.

As for KSI, a rival of both brothers and twice former opponent of Logan Paul, he is working towards a ring return in the same month, according to a number of sources. His manager Mams Taylor has indicated he will be involved in an August event, which would likely be co-promoted by Wasserman Boxing given his deal with the company.

KSI has teased fights with YouTube rivals Alex Wassabi and Austin McBroom, with the ultimate goal for his fighting career being a long-anticipated match-up with Jake Paul. The Brit hasn't fought since his 2019 win over Logan by split decision, instead focusing on his blossoming music career.

Since the onset of the coronavirus pandemic in early 2020, the YouTuber, whose real name is JJ Olatunji, released two albums, the latter of which topped the UK Charts, and a series of Top 10 singles before embarking on a seemingly endless tour, which will finally ease up in May to allow him to enter camp for that August date.
