Logan Paul hits out at "s***bag" Floyd Mayweather as he prepares to sue boxing legend

Logan Paul has torn into Floyd Mayweather, calling the boxing legend s "s***bag" amid plans to sue the 44-year-old.

Paul's brother Jake revealed earlier this month that a lawsuit has been opened, saying "it's embarrassing for Floyd 'Money' Mayweather to not have enough money to pay my brother".

Mayweather is believed to have earned $65m for his part in the pay-per-view exhibition fight against Paul, which went the full eight-round distance, while Paul earned a reported $14m.

While details of the lawsuit have not been made public, and Logan Paul maintained he is unsure if the case has officially been opened, he was quizzed once more on his opponent and took the opportunity to take aim at former world champion Mayweather.

"It's honestly bull****," Paul told TMZ Sports, with nearly nine months having passed since the original fight.

"[Having] people who aren't a professional promotional company controlling where the money goes... we made that mistake.

"But it's Floyd Mayweather, so before we fought him we were kind of willing to do whatever [and] after the fact we're shooting ourselves in the foot because he's a f***ing s***bag."

Paul urged others not to make the same mistake, saying "Now that we know that, and everyone else who fights Floyd should know that, don't let him control the money".

However, he didn't rule out another fight against Mayweather if the former champion was to reach out.

Mirror Fighting has approached Mayweather's representative for comment, and he has not commented publicly on the matter at the time of writing.

"My nickname is ‘Money’ for a reason... I worked extremely hard for years and years to get to a certain level. A level where we can start calling everything an event," Mayweather had said before the fight, claiming he earned $30m "for the patches on my trunks alone".

A California real estate investor has opened a separate lawsuit against Mayweather, seeking at least £4.3m, with Yogi Securities Holdings LLC alleging a $1.4m investment was reinvested into a separate Mayweather Productions event without their consent.

Mirror Fighting also contacted Mayweather's representative for comment at the time of this filing.

Meanwhile, Logan Paul's next fight is expected to come against Brazilian opponent Whindersson Nunes, a YouTuber and comedian from Palmeira do Piaui.

The 27-year-old, who has more than 40m subscribers to his YouTube channel, dropped more than five stone for a fight against former world champion Acelino Freitas in January, with the fight ending in a draw after Whindersson suffered a cut.

While Paul had previously claimed he had retired from boxing after the Mayweather bout, he appeared to accept a challenge from Whindersson which would see him return to the ring.
