Logan Paul has claimed he remains the best YouTube boxer despite the rise of friend KSI and his sibling Jake.
Paul has fought three times in the boxing ring with his maiden outing come in a white-collar draw with previous rival KSI - real name JJ Olatunji. He then fought in a second meeting, which was professionally sanctioned, against Olatunji but was narrowly beaten by split decision with the event considered a huge success.
Most recently in arguably Paul's biggest achievement, the YouTube star was able to survive an eight-round distance with undefeated ring legend Floyd Mayweather last June which saw his name propelled further into fame. Despite his latest success, Paul has revealed he is hungry to chase a victory in the sport and is eyeing a return despite his recent WWE stint.
"So here is where it gets really interesting," Paul said during an episode of Impaulsive after his friend KSI's recent victories over Swarmz and Luis Alcaraz Pineda. "No I am watching the landscape unfold and I have no wins but I am hungry and really hungry to get back in the ring. I am seeing my comrades do it and by the way if I didn't think I was the best I wouldn't do anything in life.
"In my head I have to be number one because if I don't believe it then how the f*** is anyone going to believe it? That is what I believe but of course respect to some of the particular greats in this vertical. I am hungry, I am training for the WWE again too but I am going in waves and I chase certain pursuits and WWE is becoming very real for me now."
Paul is one of many fighters who has been prominent in the rise of YouTube boxing alongside his brother Jake. Despite not sharing the ring with a name such as Mayweather, Jake has won all of his five professional fights and has even become a promoter of his own with a stable including female champion Amanda Serrano.

His victories have included the likes of Tyron Woodley, Ben Askren and YouTube rival AnEson Gib and he is planning to continue to take it further with his next test set to take place against UFC legend Anderson Silva. Paul's brother Jake has previously claimed that he believes he is taking boxing more seriously than his famous sibling but believes they are healthy competitors.
"I would describe his boxing career as something he does for entertainment, for fun and because he loves it. Mine is a lot more serious. I want to become a world champion, 10-0 and retire undefeated," he previously told Seconds Out. "He started his career of a loss, so it's a little hard to come back from that. But he's still a great fighter and he still sells tons of pay-per-views."
