Logan Paul has claimed Floyd Mayweather will attempt not to pay Deji after the pair have an exhibition bout in Dubai on November 13.
The boxing legend has been taking on a host of seemingly random names during his time off after retiring from the sport in 2017, including YouTube star Paul, MMA fighter Mikuru Asakura, kick-boxer Tenshin Nasukawa and former sparring partner Don Moore. He will add another influencer to his list later this year when he faces British YouTuber Deji, but Paul has warned him to be careful.
Paul is close friends with Deji's older brother KSI, who is one of the UK's most famous influencers and a chart-topping rapper, and he made his debut on the same card. But he has warned the Brit to try to get paid up front, and now believes Mayweather will attempt not to pay him at all.
"Yeah [Mayweather gets] probably another $20, 30, 40million, and he pays Deji zero," Paul theorised during a recent episode of his podcast Impaulsive. "I was going to say, Deji's cut of this fight, my guess was two-and-a-half per cent." His manager Jeff Levin then responded by saying it may end up being "no per cent".
Paul then asked Levin "do you think Deji would take this fight for free?" to which he responded "you did". Paul added: "I did say that, but I didn't. Well, essentially I did," likely in reference to his claims that Mayweather has not fully paid him for the fight, which took place in June of last year after previously telling Deji to "get paid up front".

The American YouTube star earned a moral victory of sorts when he dragged Mayweather to the final bell, with no winner being announced due to the bout being an exhibition. He used his massive 35lb weight advantage to smother the boxing legend and get through some tough rounds on his way to the end of the eighth round.
"I got paid a little bit, not like I should have got paid," Paul has previously said on his Impaulsive podcast. "I'm missing out on a few million. Tell him to f***ing pay me bro, he probably owes me between two and three [million]." Mayweather initially told Paul to "be patient" when addressing the alleged outstanding debt, but has since dismissed the claims as "bull****".
"This is the guy who said he didn't get paid which we know is truly false, which is why I don't entertain the bull**** a lot of the time," Mayweather said of Paul. "We know he got paid and if he didn't get paid he wouldn't be trying to get another payday. It is so crazy that Logan Paul wants to do an exhibition again but it is the same guy that said he didn't get paid. It is what it is."
