Logan Paul has been called out to a lucrative meeting by UFC champion Alexander Volkanovski.
The YouTube star has not fought in the boxing ring since lasting the distance with boxing legend Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition clash last June. He has yet to pick up a win in combat sports having drawn with fellow YouTuber KSI before losing their high profile rematch.
Paul has also identified a potential appearance in the UFC and previously called out Paddy Pimblett if he was to step in the octagon. Volkanovski has demanded UFC president Dana White is contacted over a single fight away from his contract. "I'd make a lot of money and that so yeah, 100 per cent," Volkanovski replied when asked if he would face the YouTube star during an interview on the Kyle and Jackie O Show.
'You said you know Dana White so get him to let me go for one fight under my contract and we'll be good." The host then replied: 'We'll text Dana in a minute, we'll text him the idea. We need to set that up, that's huge." Volkanovski has just retained his featherweight title in a trilogy victory over Max Holloway and has leapt to become the leading pound-for-pound fighter in the UFC.
He is attracting huge interest for a number of tests in the UFC including a switch to 155lb where he could attempt to become the promotion's latest double champion by challenging for the vacant belt. Meanwhile Paul has instead signed a permanent contract with wrestling organisation WWE after his successful debut at Wrestlemania 38.
It is understood that he would be willing to compete in other combat sports alongside his new career, and has previously eyed an appearance in the UFC due to his good relationship with White. Paul has addressed a number of UFC stars throughout his career including making criticism of Conor McGregor and asking for a fight with Pimblett.

The YouTube star believes a meeting with "loud mouth" Pimblett would be able to command a huge pay-per-view audience and generate significant interest. "I have found out who I would like to fight if I did a UFC match. Paddy the Baddy (Pimblett)," Paul told the MMA Hour. "They say he is the next Conor McGregor right, he is super charismatic and entertaining as hell. He is on the come-up and young like me and has a real loud mouth. I like the way he can perform.
"It's the only thing I don't know if I would win, he is a good a** fighter and I have never had an MMA fight. If I am doing it obviously I think I am going to win. But now I am looking at it and if I do a UFC fight then I have to do it with someone else who can sell tickets so I think the fans will eat that s*** up."
