Logan Paul blames Floyd Mayweather for his low ranking on YouTube earnings list

Logan Paul has blamed Floyd Mayweather's alleged non-payment for their exhibition bout for his low ranking on the 2021 YouTube earnings list.

The social media star took on Mayweather in a huge money 'fight' back in June, but has claimed over the past few months that he is still awaiting payment from the boxing legend.

Paul took Mayweather the distance over eight rounds, and with no judges present on the night, there was no winner declared.

The social media star taunted Mayweather throughout the build-up, even leading to a physical altercation between the 50-0 fighter and his brother Jake, as well as during the fight itself.

And he has now once again complained of not being paid for the event, and landing at No.9 on the Forbes Magazine list, behind his brother Jake who finished at No.2.

"Jake made $45million, YouTube's No.2 most-paid influencer," Paul said on his podcast Impaulsive. "Wow, it's crazy man, a lot of money.

"It's more than double what I made, according to that list - I might as well have not even been on the list, it's bad, real bad.

"I got ripped off with the f***ing Pokemon cards too, and if Floyd paid me in full, maybe I'd be a little higher on that list.

"But yeah, the Pokemon cards too, $3.5million on GI Joe cards, I cannot believe it, that was a sad day, a very sad day."

Paul recently released a YouTube video where it was revealed that his $3.5million purchase of a sealed box of first edition Pokemon cards was a scam.

He had bought a case without seeing it, and he has since denied accusations that he had done it for content on his YouTube page.

The video garnered him millions of views, and saw him land on the YouTube Trending page at No.1 for the second consecutive week.

The elder Paul brother has flip-flopped on whether or not he will return to the ring, where his younger sibling Jake has made a legitimate name for himself going 5-0 with his three wins last year.

He has launched an energy drink company with his old rival KSI, and during a recent video to promote it, he announced that he was done with fighting.

Asked what they do for a living by TikTok star ItsDanielMac, KSI responded, "Well we used to be boxers but we're retired now," to which Paul responds, "Yeah".

When Mac asks what happened, Paul responds by repeating his claim that Floyd Mayweather has yet to pay him for their exhibition bout, which was set to earn both men tens of millions.

"I fought Floyd Mayweather but he never paid me," Paul joked in the video. "So now we just distribute beverages."

Mirror Fighting has reached out to Mayweather's representatives for comment on the accusation.
