Revellers enjoyed a day of music and sunshine in memory of Lockerbie guitar legend Bobby Mitchell on Saturday.
A host of local bands performed at the open air event, labelled Bobby’s Gig at the Brig, from early afternoon into the evening.
The popular musician and much loved local character died suddenly last year.
The gigathon tribute was organised by Paul and Caz Bell who run the pub.
Bobby’s sister Avril Campbell posted on Facebook afterwards: “The place was rocking. Just exactly how Bobby would have wanted it.
“He even ordered the sun for us.”
She added: “A huge ‘thank you’ from the Mitchell family to Caz and Paul of the Brig for the tremendous day that they organised in Bobby’s memory.”
And she also thanked the “fantastic bands” and everyone who helped behind the scenes.
