Location, Location, Location viewers shocked with bargain house prices

Location, Location, Location viewers were treated to a look at some homes in the North East of England - and were left shocked at the prices.

On tonight's episode, we saw Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer help more house-hunters make life-changing moves. The pair travelled to Northumberland and Newcastle to help solo buyer Charlotte with bidding and Lauren and Noel with finding the perfect home.

But as the presenters began showing the potential homebuyers houses in the region, many viewers down south were left aghast by the prices. Some took to Twitter to vent their surprise.

@PennyBurnard tweeted: "Why are these properties so cheap?"

Another view was surprised to hear about Charlotte's budget for a two-bedroom place. @Vickesh tweeted: "Woah 165k is the top budget for two-beds in Newcastle."

A local to the North East one viewer isn't surprised the show finally decided to travel to the region. @coyknorth tweeted: "It had to happen eventually, #LocationLocationLocation crew end up in Morpeth. Canny hooses, canny folk."

@MMurrish tweeted: "Love the North East, hate the patronising presenters on #c4 #locationlocationlocation they are dreadful."

The Channel 4 show Location, Location, Location premiered its 37th season. After 22 years, the property show hosted by Phil Spencer and Kirstie Allsopp stands strong.

Location, Location, Location focuses on finding the perfect house for customers across the UK, whilst keeping their requirements and desires in mind. Presenters Allsopp and Spencer are by the side of their customers through the whole house buying journey. The episodes start off with a talk with the customers on their requirements, followed by a number of house viewings before the hosts help the customers put a bid in and buy a forever home of their choice.

The experts are well experienced within the industry. Allsopp ran her own home search company Kimir while Spencer is an active property investor and landlord.
