Amid the devastating Los Angeles County fires, numerous restaurants have stepped up to offer support to those affected. One such establishment is Amiga Amore, a local MexItalian Eatery, which provided meals for both first responders and evacuees.
Co-owner Alessandro Zecca shared that the decision to help was driven by a sense of community and empathy. Zecca mentioned that the fires' impact hit close to home, as his wife, Danielle, hails from Glendale. The couple felt compelled to take action rather than stand idly by in the face of such destruction.
Amiga Amore's efforts extended beyond their restaurant walls, as they collaborated with various organizations to distribute meals. They worked with the Salvation Army, the Pasadena Convention Center, and even delivered meals to nearby fire stations.

World Central Kitchen, led by renowned chef José Andrés, also joined the relief efforts by establishing six distribution sites across locations like Pasadena, Altadena, La Cañada Flintridge, Woodland Hills, and Canoga Park.
Several other restaurants in Los Angeles lent their support over the weekend. Shake Shack provided complimentary meals to first responders, while Bé Ú kitchen offered free meals to evacuees and first responders. Detroit Pizza generously gave away pizzas to those impacted by the fires, and Crustacean in Beverly Hills extended a helping hand by offering free bowls of noodles to affected individuals and first responders.
