Police called in to deal with gang of 20 youths at Broadway and Stonedale Retail Park

Police dealt with a group of more than 20 youths on Tuesday night, following reports of anti-social behaviour around shops on Broadway and at Stonedale Retail Park.

The youngsters were stopped by officers from Walton Lane Police Station and some were taken home to "shocked" parents", who thanked the police for making them aware of what their children had been up to.

In a tweet, police said: "Good Evening from Walton Lane Local Policing. We responded to anti social behaviour tonight at Broadway shops and Stonedale Retail Park.

"We stopped over 20 youths and took some home to shocked parents who were thankful to be made aware of what their children were doing."

If you see any acts of anti-social behaviour or anything suspicious, then police can be contacted on the 101 non-emergency number, while people are reminded to dial 999 in an emergency.
