The Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl LVII win over the Philadelphia Eagles was a momentous occasion for fans across the country. The Shatto Milk Company has taken it upon itself to make a new kind of dairy product to celebrate the achievement.
Named “Eagle Tears”, their first of two limited-time products hit store shelves across Kansas City beginning on April 10th. According to Shatto, it’s supposed to taste exactly like a Philadelphia Cheesecake.
The jury is out on whether they achieved a perfect flavor match, though the commemorative glass bottles that the milk comes in are sure to be a hot commodity for years to come. One of Kansas City’s preeminent sources for local dairy products, Shatto is a staple of the region’s dairy sections in grocery stores, and their strategy in this latest campaign offers fans yet another chance to beat the drum for the Chiefs in the offseason.
Don’t expect Philadelphians to be so enthused, though, as their beloved Eagles will fight for another Super Bowl title in 2023 with depleted nasolacrimal ducts.
Fans who aren’t in the Kansas City area can order a bottle online for mailing.
Shatto also recently announced their second Super Bowl LVII commemorative milk bottle “Golden Age.” It’s an Apple Pie flavored milk that is said to recognize the GOATs in Kansas City — Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce. Only 11,000 bottles are being made, so be sure to check that out when it releases on April 24th.
