LOC to be issued against partners of Hyderabad pub

Telangana Police would issue Look Out Circulars (LOC) against Kiran Raju Penumacha and Veeramachaneni Arjun – both partners of Pudding & Mink pub at Radisson Blu Plaza and accused in the recently-busted drugs case – preventing them from leaving the country.

A proposal to issue the LOC was sent to the State’s nodal officer by the Hyderabad city police, a senior officer associated with the investigation of the case told The Hindu.

He said that apart from the LOC, they had further tightened all avenues, including keeping a close watch on the friends and family members of the absconding accused.

“We got their passport copies and other details. They are left with no option but to surrender,” the officer said, adding that the ‘actual’ technical investigation of the case started only on Wednesday.

Video footage

A technical team is analysing the video footage of surveillance cameras in the pub and hotel, and examining the call detail records. The investigators have also summoned the pub’s staff to Banjara Hills police station to identify the ‘suspicious’ customers.

Further, police found that Mr. Penumacha was listed in a total of 46 Indian Companies, including T-Dezigns India Private Limited, Splendid Avionics Private Limited, Snp Ventures Private Limited.
