A loaded handgun has been seized after a garda raid in Crumlin.
The search took lace on the Crumlin Road yesterday.
The firearm will now be sent for analysis at the Garda Ballistics Unit.
Gardai added that no arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.
A spokesperson said: "Gardai have seized a firearm following a search operation in the Crumlin Road area of Dublin on Thursday, May 4 2023.
"During the operation, a loaded handgun was located at the scene.
"The firearm will now be sent for analysis at the Garda Ballistics Unit.
"No arrests have been made. Investigations are ongoing."
