Banks regularly offer cash incentives to get customers to switch to them from another provider.
Money Saving Expert's Martin Lewis frequently updates fans about these "bribes", with many people utilising them to get free cash. The switching process is usually very straightforward, though there is some criteria customers must meet.
Lloyds Bank is now offering its biggest ever switching bonus - and people can claim it up until November 14.

Customers who switch from another bank to a Club Lloyds Account or Club Lloyds Platinum Account will be given £150.
Alongside the switcher bonus, new Club Lloyds customers will be able to choose from a range of lifestyle benefits including cinema tickets, magazine downloads and movie streaming, as well as earn interest on balances under £5,000 and take advantage of Everyday Offers, providing cashback when shopping at select retailers.
The Current Account Switching Service makes switching simple by transferring the existing current account balance, and all direct debits, standing orders and salary commitments, within seven days.
Customers will receive the cash within three days of the switch being complete. The extra money will be welcomed by many, as the cost of living crisis continues to bite.
Food, petrol and energy are just some essential items that continue to rise in price.
