Lizzo in jaw-dropping performance as she wears sparkly blue catsuit in California

Lizzo looked sensational as she put on an out-of-this-world performance in California's Chase Center.

On Saturday evening, the musician took to the stage for her The Special Tour in a sparkly blue catsuit.

The 34-year-old was as gorgeous as ever in the ensemble, which featured a nude base and was covered in bright blue patterns.

She wore matching blue boots and rocked equally glam make-up for the concert.

Lizzo was joined on stage by a team of backup dancers, who were equally as glam in bright blue hotpants and crop tops.

The singer was also joined on stage by rapper Latto.

She has the same outfit in many other colours, including bright yellow and bright pink.

Lizzo is known for her high-energy performances and incredible vocals, and it won't be any different as she continues her tour next week.

She will continue her tour in Europe in February next year, with her stopping in the UK in March for a few gigs.

The star previously found herself under fire when she played the flute which had been owned by the fourth President of America, James Madison at a sold-out show in Washington DC.

During a concert, she said: "This is from the early 1800s, this was a gift to James Madison from a French crystal flute designer to celebrate his second term.

"There was a fire and the only two things that were saved were a portrait of George Washington and this crystal flute right here.

"I am the first person to ever play it, so you're about to hear what it sounds like for the first time, thank you to the Library of Congress for preserving our history and making history cool."

An excited Lizzo revealed on Twitter after the gig that she was the first person to play the special instrument in over two centuries.

While some disagreed with the move, Lizzo has since been invited to the home of the former president, with a spokesperson for the estate explaining they hope she will deliver a few songs.

Lizzo will be performing in Oslo, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Amsterdam, Antwerp, Cologne, Berlin, Milan, Zurich, Paris, Glasgow, Birmingham, Dublin, and Manchester.

Her tour will end with two performances at London's O2 Arena.
