Liz Hurley sends sweet message to Shane Warne's daughter following star's death

Liz Hurley has sent a sweet message to the youngest daughter of cricketer Shane Warne after his shocking death on Friday at the age of 52.

Summer, 20, shared an emotional tribute to her late dad following his death by "natural causes" in Koh Samui, Thailand.

She uploaded a number of sweet snaps and clips of her and her dad alongside a lengthy caption.

In one image, a young Summer and her topless dad shoot beaming smiles at the camera, while in a funny video Shane pulls a face and tells his daughter she is a "cheeky monkey" for recording him.

Shane's ex Liz, 56, responded to the post by declaring: "I love you, Summer. Your daddy worshipped you."

Summer, whose mum is the Australian sportsman's ex wife Simone Callahan, is one of his three kids.

He and Simone also share Brooke, 24, and Jackson, 23.

An emotional Summer wrote on Instagram : "There are no words. It feels like I'm dreaming, waiting for someone to wake me up and tell me that you’re okay.

"This can’t be real life. There’s no way that life is this cruel to the most beautiful people on this earth.

"There’s no way that I will never hear your soft voice again telling me that "everything is going to be okay" or how 'proud' you are of me, or simply saying 'goodnight', 'good morning', or 'I love you'."

She continues to say that despite her dad's death, she will "cherish the memories till my time is up" and said she will always love him.

Summer concluded the post by saying: "Love your little girl SJ and I will continue to make you proud."

Piers Morgan also commented on her post to send a message of condolence. He wrote: "So sorry for your terrible loss, Summer. Your dad was a great man. My deepest condolences to you and all your family."

Elizabeth's son Damian also paid tribute to the star on Sunday just days after Shane was confirmed dead while on a "lad's holiday".

The 19-year-old model called the cricket legend "a father figure" while also labelling him "one of the best men I've ever known" in a heartfelt Instagram post.

Damian wrote: 'I'm still trying to wrap my head around this… SW was a father figure to me for most of my formative years and was truly one the best men I've ever known.

"My heart is broken. Thinking of and sending love to all SW's family."
