Livingston striker Esmael Goncalves has sealed a loan move to Championship side Raith Rovers for the remainder of the season.
The 31-year-old signed for the Lions in the summer but has struggled to make an impact - with just one Premiership start for the Tony Macaroni Arena outfit.
The return from injury of Joel Nouble, along with the form of winter transfer signing Steven Bradley, has seen the former Hearts man not even listed on the bench in recent weeks.
He is still contracted to Livi next season and will now have a chance to stake a claim of regular first-team football under Ian Murray before returning to his parent club in the summer.
Meanwhile, Ivan Konovalov's departure from the Lions was confirmed yesterday with the Russian keeper expected to sign for Kazakhstan top flight side FC Tobol.
