Livingston police issue three points and £100 fine to careless Ford Focus driver

Police officers in Livingston, West Lothian, issued three points and £100 fine to a motorist after they were caught driving in a careless manner.

The car used by the thoughtless driver appears to be a blue Ford Focus that has had considerable work carried out on the body of the vehicle.

As well as this the picture appears to show tinted rear passenger windows with black rims on the wheels.

Ford Focus’s are popular with boy racer types as they are easily modified and are often more affordable to maintain than other models.

Police say that they were carrying out checks on multiple popular “car meet” spots in Livingston’s town centre on the evening of April 9 2022.

They say that the car was stopped after they had spotted it being driven in an “inconsiderate manner.”

On Twitter, Road Policing Scotland said: “#LivingstonRP carried out patrols at various "car meet" locations this evening in Livingston town centre. This vehicle was stopped after officers observed it being driven in a careless / inconsiderate manner. Driver issued with a roadside ticket (3 points and a £100 fine).”
