Livingston have been handed a tricky Premier Sports group stage draw - and it features two sides they have yet to meet in competitive fixtures.
The Lions were top seeds for this afternoon’s draw and will make up Group G alongside Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Cove Rangers, Kelty Hearts and Albion Rovers.
Livi have progressed from the group stage in each of the last five seasons but face potential banana skins to start the 2022/23 season.
Caley Thistle were one step away from being promoted to the Premiership after being defeated by St Johnstone in the play-off final while both Cove and Kelty won their respective divisions - League One and League Two - last season.
David Martindale’s men have never faced either of those two sides in a competitive match before.
The fixtures will be announced in due course but will take place between July 9-24, prior to the Lions’ kicking off their Premiership campaign.
