Liverpool XI vs West Ham: Konate out - Starting lineup, confirmed team news, injury latest for game today

Ibrahima Konate is not in the Liverpool squad for tonight’s trip to West Ham.

Jurgen Klopp is without the defender due to a knock, leading to a recall for Joel Matip.

Roberto Firmino is still struggling with a muscle problem but could return for the visits of Fulham and Brentford next week.

Elsewhere, however, Liverpool are largely free of any fresh fitness concerns.

While Calvin Ramsay, Stefan Bajcetic and Naby Keita remain injured, Klopp largely has a full squad from which to choose.

The German has recently been deploying Trent Alexander-Arnold in a more advanced role and that experiment could continue in east London.

Klopp has also talked up the in-form Diogo Jota, who has returned to form by registering four goals and an assist in his last two games and starts tonight.

Liverpool XI: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson; Henderson, Fabinho, Jones; Jota, Gakpo, Salah.

Subs: Kelleher, Gomez, Thiago, Milner, Elliot, Tsimikas, Diaz, Thiago, Nunez, Carvalho.

Injured: Firmino
