Liverpool XI vs West Ham: Starting lineup, confirmed team news and injury latest for Premier League

Alisson and Conor Bradley start for Liverpool against West Ham.

Goalkeeper Alisson returns having not featured since the Champions League defeat to Paris Saint-Germain a month ago after suffering a head injury on Brazil duty.

Arne Slot has had to play Curtis Jones at right-back and has talked this week about the boost of having Bradley available again.

Slot said: “Of course it’s a boost, it’s always a boost when quality players come back. Especially quality players in that position, because I think Curtis Jones is a quality player but it’s not his favourite position.

“So to have a player in his favourite position is always – not always - but might be better for the team. And Conor has done so well for us this season, just like Trent. But when Trent then isn’t there, you always hope to look behind you and see that Conor is available.

“To have Conor back, I think we all would make the same decision and that’s playing Conor in that position.”

Konstantinos Tsimikas starts at left-back.

Mohamed Salah starts in attack, fresh from signing a new contract.

Confirmed Liverpool XI: Alisson; Bradley, Konate, Van Dijk, Tsimikas; Gravenberch, Jones, Mac Allister; Salah, Jota, Diaz

Subs: Jaros, Kelleher, Endo, Szoboszlai, Chiesa, Gakpo, Elliott, Robertson, Quansah

Injured: Alexander-Arnold, Gomez

Time and date: 2pm BST on Sunday, April 13, 2025
