Liverpool XI vs PSV: Starting lineup, confirmed team news, injury latest for Champions League today

Arne Slot makes sweeping changes as Liverpool travel to PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League tonight.

The Reds have already secured a top-eight finish in the league phase after seven straight wins, ensuring they are through to the knockout stage whatever happens in the Netherlands after Slot’s former side.

Slot has therefore a chance to rest some of his first-team stars with a tough trip to Bournemouth coming on Saturday, before Liverpool then face Tottenham in the second leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final tie.

Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Luis Diaz and Ibrahima Konate are among the host of players who have not travelled.

Federico Chiesa is set to make only his second start of the season.

Joe Gomez has returned to training, but has missed the last seven games. Curtis Jones, who missed Saturday's win over Ipswich with a groin problem, and striker Diogo Jota, who has been out for a fortnight with a muscle injury, have yet to rejoin the squad.
