Slot explained after the game that the decision was tactical, having seen Konate impress as Liverpool went on to win the game. Quansah drops to the bench at Anfield this afternoon, as Konate partners Virgil van Dijk.
Further forward, it is a case of as you were with the front six. Cody Gakpo is still on the bench as Luis Diaz is preferred, while Diogo Jota is preferred to Darwin Nunez.
