Liverpool Women's Hospital has warned patients there will be "some changes" on the day of Queen Elizabeth II's funeral.
The Women's Hospital has warned patients there will be some changes to appointments on Monday, September 19. It was confirmed on Saturday, September 10 that Her Majesty's funeral will take place on Monday, September 19 at 11am and will be a bank holiday for the whole of the UK.
Queen Elizabeth died at her Balmoral Estate on Thursday, September 8 aged 96. The nation's new monarch, King Charles III, was formally declared head of state during a historic, televised ceremony. The King confirmed the day of the Queen's state funeral during the proceedings.

The country is expecting a number of disruptions and cancellations to services on the day of the funeral. Liverpool Women's Hospital has confirmed there will be some changes to appointments on the day of the funeral.
In a public statement, a spokesperson for the hospital said: "We understand patients with appointments on 19.09.22 will be awaiting updates in light of the Queen’s funeral & national holiday announcement. The Trust will be continuing with clinical activity but some changes to appointments may occur, please wait to be contacted directly."
