A local business is thriving stateside after bagging an award in Las Vegas.
ThinK Wines was first created in 2019 by Liverpool entrepreneur Katherine Jones. Since then, the company has gone on to win a slew of awards and even launched in America, where it's been well received.
Now, the brand has won its first set of awards in the USA for its wine and prosecco, which launched across the pond late last year. The team is celebrating a win at the prestigious Las Vegas Global Wine Awards.

The globally-renowned awards saw a top judging panel - consisting of an "extraordinary mix of Master Sommeliers, Winemakers, highly respected industry Journalists and Trade Experts" - blind taste the hundreds of wines from around the world. The judging process was lengthy, lasting a month due to the volume of entries and the actual qualifying process.
An extensive amount of diverse and very specific wine categories were created to ensure entries were judged correctly and accurately. ThinK CEO Katherine Jones commented: "I was over the moon to hear that both my Prosecco and Pinot Grigio Rose Brut won Silver Awards at such a prestigious and industry recognised event in the entertainment capital of the world.
"America was a tough market to break into but we have steadily built up an amazing customer base already in key states and are now part of 'Thirstie', which is one of the biggest alcohol delivery sites out there."
ThinK Wine Group was set up in summer 2019 and its products are stocked in a range of venues, in addition to being sold at some high profile events locally, nationally and, now, internationally, too. The business has achieved seven industry recognised awards within three years both on national and international stages. ThinK products will be at the Isla Gladstone wedding fayre later this month, and pop up events in Liverpool city centre in the run up to Christmas.
