Brazil want Liverpool to do them a 'favour' and knock Real Madrid out of the Champions League as they eye manager Carlo Ancelotti.
It has been two months since the end of the World Cup in Qatar and Brazil have been without a manager in that time after parting ways with Tite due to losing to Croatia in the quarter-finals.
Local FA president Ednaldo Rodrigues gave himself a soft deadline of the end of January to appoint a new boss, that, has come and gone, and the decision has been made to put Ramon Meneses, the Under-20s boss, in charge for a friendly next month against Morocco as Brazil wait for their man.

It appears that Brazil have set their sights on a big-name, foreign manager and this is where Madrid's Ancelotti comes into it.
The Italian has been named as the reported number one target for the Brazilian national side, but he is currently under contract until 2024 and says he has no intention of leaving before then.
But, do Los Blancos see things the same way? They are known for being ruthless with their managers if the season has not gone to plan and Madrid currently find themselves five points behind La Liga leaders Barcelona.
Brazil are hoping a Champions League elimination at the last-16 stage by Liverpool would accelerate doubts in the Spanish capital over Italian Ancelotti so they can pounce and secure their main target.
