Liverpool weather: sunny intervals turning to cloud says Met Office

Merseyside should expect sunny intervals changing to cloud later in the day according to the Met Office.

Sunny intervals are expected in Merseyside today (Sunday, April 10) with warmer temperatures than yesterday. The Met Office has predicted a chilly start to the day with temperatures around 5C by 10am.

After a frosty start the day ahead should be fine and dry with plenty of hazy sunshine. Temperatures are expected to rise to around 12C by 5pm.

But the sunshine will turn increasingly hazier ahead of thick cloud moving in by the evening. This heavy cloud will make the temperature feel slightly colder than it is.

It is unlikely to rain in Merseyside today with the Met Office predicting there won't be more than a 10% chance of precipitation. The wind speed will remain constant throughout the day rarely reaching above 10mph.

Across the north west the night will be cloudy but should remain mainly dry. Merseyside in particular should enjoy the best of it with temperatures remaining around 8 or 9C throughout the night.
