Liverpool is set to be hit by heavy rain and thunderstorms, according to the Met Office.
The national weather service has warned of heavy rain and thunderstorms on Friday, October 21. Rain is expected to start at around 11am, just one hour before thunderstorms hit the region.
Wet weather will continue until around 7pm, with the evening remaining largely dry. No weather warnings or flood warnings are currently in place for the North West of England.

A spokesperson from the Met Office said: "Showers soon breaking out fairly widely, these often heavy with a chance of hail and thunder. Brief sunny intervals possible in-between the showers and feeling mild albeit breezier than Thursday.
"Maximum temperature 17 °C."
