Thunder, lightning and rain are expected to hit Liverpool on Friday.
The Met Office has forecast thunderstorms for Merseyside tomorrow ahead of a weekend of unsettled weather. A series of yellow weather warnings are in place for parts of the UK today (Thursday) including Manchester and Stoke-on-Trent.
There are currently no weather warnings for Merseyside, but the region is expected to see heavy rain followed by thunder on Friday afternoon. According to the latest forecast, it will be a wet start to the day for the city with thunderstorms arriving at 3pm.

Temperatures are expected to reach highs of 16 degrees and there will be up to 91% humidity.
The Met Office said there is a "heavy risk of thunder" for the North West tomorrow ahead of a mild and unsettled weekend. The Met Office forecast for the North West said: "Showers continue throughout the day, inbetween sunny spells.
"These may be heavy with a risk of thunder. Fairly light southeasterly winds, though breezy at the coast and within showers. Maximum temperature 18 °C.
"Perhaps less windy over the weekend than of late, though remaining unsettled and mild, with occasional showers or spells of rain through until Monday. Winds picking up again on Monday."
