Today's weather will be dry throughout the morning but with the potential for showers later in the afternoon.
It's set to be a mixed day of weather in Merseyside on Saturday, April 30, according to the Met Office. Temperature highs are expected around 15C and although the morning will stay dry, as the day progresses the light clouds are expected to darken with the potential for rain from around 6pm.
This morning will see a brisk start to the day with light clouds but no rain. Later on in the day temperatures will pick up with temperatures peaking at around 3pm.

But as the day goes on the chances of rain increases with the likelihood of precipitation currently sat at 50 percent from around 9pm. The wind gust speeds will also increase throughout the day making the temperature feel slightly colder than it actually is.
According to The Met Office, the weather across the rest of the North West will be similar to that seen in Merseyside. The North West forecast said: "A dry morning, with plenty of hazy sunshine. Cloud thickening from the north through the afternoon, with rain slowly edging south across the region.
"The rain turning heavy over the higher ground. Feeling warm in the sunshine. Maximum temperature 18C."
Overnight Merseyside is expected to see more wet weather with a damp and breezy evening turning to rain overnight. Showers are expected to turn to heavy rain by around 6am and temperatures will be slightly milder than of late.
