Liverpool weather cold grey start with sunny spells later

It will be a cold and grey start in Liverpool today, with sunnier spells later on.

Forecasters at the Met Office said it will be a "cold murky start for many with areas". Some people may also wake up to mist and fog, which will slowly during the morning.

Later on today, Wednesday, November 30, there could be some sunnier spells, however it is likely to feel chilly with temperatures not reaching above single figures. The maximum temperature in the city will be 7C.

Tonight, it will remain cloudy through the evening with mist and fog patches forming in any clear spells. Temperatures will be mostly low single figures.

On Thursday, it will be cloudy most of the day and also cold once again as the maximum temperature in the city will be 7C.

For the outlook from Friday to Sunday for the North West, the Met Office said: "Cold and cloudy throughout. Under any clear skies, overnight fog and frosts are possible. Mostly dry but with light showers at times. Winds light at first but breezy from Friday.!
