Liverpool weather: cloudy spells and rain warning for Liverpool FC parade

Liverpool should expect cloudy spells throughout the day as the city prepares for Liverpool FC's parade.

The Met Office said today's weather will generally be a much cloudier day than Saturday but still with some limited bright or sunny spells. The weather should be relatively dry for the Liverpool FC parade, but some showers are possible especially in the morning and early afternoon.

By the time the parade starts around 4pm the chance of precipitation should drop below 5% ensuring the parade, which will travel around the city, will be a dry affair. But a light northerly breeze will ensure temperatures feel much cooler than of late, with a maximum temperature of around 13C.

The Met Office forecast for the North West on Sunday, May 29 said: "It will generally be a cloudier day than on Saturday, but still with some limited bright or sunny spells. Remaining mostly dry, but some showers are possible at times. A light northerly breeze and feeling cooler than of late. Maximum temperature 14C."
