Liverpool vs Rangers minutes' silence for Indonesia football disaster confirmed

RANGERS have confirmed that a minute of silence will take place prior to tonight's match with Liverpool.

Anfield will fall silent as a mark of respect for the victims of the tragic events at the Kanjuruhan Stadium, Indonesia over the weekend.

A riot took place inside the stadium, which sadly saw 125 people lose their lives.

The Ibrox club tweeted: "There will be a minute of silence at tonight’s match for the victims of the tragedy that occurred in the Kanjuruhan Stadium, Indonesia.

"We send our sincere condolences to the victims, their families and all those who have been affected."
