Manchester United’s Cold Anfield Form
The news will come as a huge relief to supporters, pundits and football fans all over the world. Considering that the two teams are considered the titans of English football.
Liverpool are flying high at the top of the league and are very much on course to win their second Premier League title. However, it’s doom and gloom for Manchester United at present.
The Red Devils have endured a torrid run of form going into the new year. Ruben Amorim’s side have lost their last four games across all competitions.
At the home of their bitter rivals, United haven’t won at Anfield since 2016. Furthermore, they haven’t even scored a league goal on the red half of Merseyside since 2018.
With the above in mind, the omen does not look good for Amorim and his side. Arne Slot will be quietly confident of picking up all three points as the Reds continue their march towards the title.
Ahead of the titanic clash, the best football betting sites in the UK make Slot’s side the 5/12 favourites. United can be backed at 15/2 with the draw available at 9/2.
