Liverpool’s Berry and Rye made the list alongside bars in London, Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham and more. The Berry Street bar came in at number 12.
Tucked away on Berry Street, there is no sign above the door and no indication that Berry and Rye even exists. It’s one of those word of mouth places, where a mate will take you but you’ll never quite remember which door you went through.
Think thick velvet curtains, big wooden tables lit by twinkling candles and cocktails that’ll leave you reeling and also wanting more. The menu is extensive and ever changing, so it's always worth a visit to see what’s available.
Berry and Rye is notoriously difficult to find, with no sign or advertisement outside, but well worth the wait. You can find the full list on the UK's most Instagrammable bars here.
Berry and Rye is based at 48 Berry St, Liverpool L1 4JQ. The bar is open 7pm - 1am Wednesday to Friday, 5pm - 2am Friday to Saturday and 5pm - 1am on Sundays.
